Looking for a decently good-looking cheap armor set...
Well, I'm as of now looking for a decently-good cheap armor set for my Sentry's Armor.
As of now, I've been using Krytan chest/leggins/feet, with Canthan Gloves. however... theres just something about the leggings I don't personally like, so I'm looking into other options. However, there is only one requirement. The set uses the Krytan Chestpiece (because it looks so badass.) And decently cheap meaning... 1.5k armors only >_>. Oh, and Male Ranger please |

the canthan armors, both 1.5 and 15k dye pure white with silver dye...If you post a pic of your character...then I could do a better job of telling you which combo would like nice with it
This is your jacket if I'm correct.. Try these Gloves These Boots These Pants This Mask All 1.5k armors... I do suggest either Fow or Imperial canthan 15k, they are worth the cash! Last edited by Undead Preacher; Jun 15, 2006 at 09:14 AM // 09:14.. |

I apologize to the OP but I have a similar question. I can't really decide which is the better looking 1.5k armor set for the rangers. My character is from factions and for the most part my character's been wearing Shing Jea armor. I just got the Explorer's Krytan Vest since I like the coat. I don't really care if my character has a matching set.
Actually more importantly which combination types of armor should I be getting: Explorer, Druid, Hunter, etc... I'm going to add a major vigor rune, but also what other runes should be added to make my ranger versatile for PvE and PvP for the time being? I don't have much gold to get different sets of armor yet. I hope this wasn't a confusing post. |

the best "all around" ranger armor, is the Druid's set, no questions asked.

When you say Krytan, I'm going to hope that:
A) By Krytan, you're referring to Tyria as a whole by the term Krytan, or... B) You're wearing this set just for looks. Because the armor at Lion's Arch, which would be Krytan, isn't max, last time I checked. |

For example: In Prophecies, this is the Collector's Armor (except for the mask). In Factions, this is the 1.5K Krytan Armor. It seems that the following match/pairing can be seen (ignoring stats): Prophecies ==> Factions Starter Armor ==> Ascalon Armor Collector Armor ==> Krytan Armor Basic Crafter Armor ==> Tyrian Armor Last edited by Yakumo; Jun 20, 2006 at 12:33 PM // 12:33.. |
